Extract a page range into one file, or break every page into its own PDF.

Nothing Leaves Your Device

The split runs in your browser. Confidential documents stay confidential.

Take Exactly the Pages You Need

A PDF is often more than you want to share. The bank statement covers twelve months and the person asking only needs March. The scanned contract has forty pages and the signature block is on page thirty-eight. This tool lets you pull out precisely those pages — and because it runs inside your browser, the document you are trimming never leaves your computer.

How to Split a PDF

  1. Drop your PDF on the page. Its page count appears straight away.
  2. Choose whether you want one combined file or a separate file per page.
  3. Type the pages to keep — for example 1-3, 7, 10-12. The tool tells you how many pages that matched.
  4. Click split, and the result downloads immediately.

Removing Pages Instead

There is no separate "delete pages" mode because you do not need one: select everything except the pages you want gone. To drop page six from a ten-page file, enter 1-5, 7-10. The pages you left out simply are not copied into the new document, and your original file stays untouched on disk.

Why In-Browser Splitting Is Safer

  • No server copy. Upload-based splitters keep your file at least long enough to process it, and often longer. Here there is nothing to keep.
  • No account, no trail. You are not asked for an email address, so there is no record tying you to the document.
  • Works offline. Load the page once, then disconnect — the splitter still functions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is read and split inside your browser, so it never leaves your device. Nothing is sent to a server, nothing is stored, and there is no copy for anyone to access later. This matters when the document is a contract, a bank statement, or anything else you would not email to a stranger.

How do I write the page range?

Use page numbers separated by commas, and hyphens for ranges. For example, 1-3, 7, 10-12 selects pages one through three, page seven, and pages ten through twelve. The tool shows you exactly how many pages your expression matched, so you can confirm before you split.

What is the difference between the two output options?

'One PDF' takes every page you selected and puts them together into a single new document — this is what you want when extracting a chapter or removing unwanted pages. 'Separate PDFs' saves each selected page as its own file, which is useful when you need to distribute pages individually.

How do I delete pages instead of extracting them?

Select the pages you want to keep rather than the ones you want removed. If a ten-page document has a blank page six, entering 1-5, 7-10 produces a copy with that page gone. The original file on your device is never modified.

My browser only downloaded some of the separate files. Why?

Browsers guard against pages that trigger many downloads at once, and will usually show a prompt asking whether to allow multiple downloads. Allow it and the rest will save normally. If you would rather avoid the prompt entirely, split in smaller batches.
