Frequently Asked Questions
Will resizing my image reduce its quality?
Making an image smaller (downsizing) generally keeps the image looking crisp and sharp. However, making an image significantly larger (upscaling) than its original size may cause it to look blurry or pixelated because the browser has to invent new pixels.
Why is my resized image stretched?
If your image looks stretched or squished, it means you changed the dimensions without locking the aspect ratio. Click the "padlock" icon to lock the aspect ratio, and the tool will automatically calculate the correct height when you type a width!
